Blatt und Blüte (葉と花) - Eine fotografische Interpretation des Haiku

In meinen fotografischen Arbeiten ist nicht ein spezifisches Haiku ausschlaggebend, sondern das Konzept des Haiku. Das klassische Haiku ist eine dreizeilige Versform die aus 17 Moren (Lauteinheiten aus der Hiragana- bzw. Katakana-Schrift) besteht. Die Blütezeit fällt ins 17. /18 Jhd. Wesentlich dabei ist das Unausgesprochene, die Andeutung, ein reduzierter Ausschnitt eines Moments der sichtbaren Welt, der auf das Umfassende, das Dahinter blicken lässt. Das Haiku steht in Bezug zur Natur (Jahreszeit, Impression). Das subjektive Empfinden hängt von der betrachtenden Person ab. Die Thematik dieser Arbeiten befasst sich mit einer perzeptiven Detailverschiebung, da das Abgebildete konkret ist, aber unterschiedliche Interpretationen zulässt. Die Arbeiten bilden die Natur in einem reduzierten Ausschnitt ab, lassen aber, durch die starke Vergrößerung, auf etwas Umfassenderes schließen. Das Greifbare wird um eine Ebene erweitert. Eine erkennbare Struktur lässt auf eine weitere Struktur schließen. Abstrakt trifft Konkret. Die betrachtende Person erliegt somit einer gewissen Unvollständigkeit in der Wahrnehmung, die sie für sich selbst entschlüsselt. Der Blick auf das Detail ist der Blick auf das Gesamte.

Leaf and Blossom (葉と花) - A photographic interpretation of Haiku

In my photographic work, it is not a specific Haiku that is decisive, but the concept of Haiku. The classic haiku is a three-part verse form consisting of 17 moras (sound units from the Hiragana resp. Katakana syllabary). The prosperity is in the 17th / 18th century. Essential is the unspoken, the hint, a reduced section of a moment of the visible world which puts the comprehensive, the behind in an appearance. The haiku is related to nature (season, impression). The subjective feeling depends on the observing person. The topic of this work deals with a perceptual shift of detail, because the pictured is concrete, but allows different interpretations. The works depict nature in a reduced section, but imply, because of the strong magnification, to something more comprehensive. The tangible is extended by one level. A recognizable structure suggests another structure. Abstract meets concrete. The observing person thus succumbs to a certain incompleteness in the perception, which is decrypted by the person itself. The eye on the detail is the view of the whole.
